This is why I play Disc Golf. There is nothing better than getting up early in the morning and going out to play when no one else is on the course. Plus it is just nice to be outside. And we have had some great fall weather!

Monday Night Football! Notice the jersey to the right, it is an old Eagles jersey! Hahaha. It was a gift from my wife's grandparents, after the Redskins signed McNabb. Looks like he is going to be a Skin for awhile. Not a bad payday...40 million guaranteed.

Not a bad deal for 15 bucks! I got the disc, lunch, and to play two rounds of Disc Golf. First round I tied for 3rd, and the the second round was not good at all.

The county has purchased this land to use as a park, and today they held a preview to show it off to the public. I met with a few people involved to try and incorporate disc golf within the park, but didn't get any real good feedback. Oh well got to keep on trying. Next, Public Hearings.

Keeping score during a round is not always the easiest thing to do. I have tried an iPod App, and three different score cards. But the one on the top left seems to work the best. The typed version is from a Google Doc, and it is where I keep all of my scores.

After week one of my photo class we had talked about White Balance, and ExpoDisc's. So I did some research and found this little guy. It is a lens cap that helps with custom white balance. It is awesome and saves me a step. It is called the Brno BaLens.

Today at work we had a Chili Cook-Off. I won! We all made them this weekend and then brought them in to be judged. They were judged on the following: TASTE, CONSISTENCY, AROMA, COLOR, and AFTER TASTE.

Can you tell what I'm interested in these days! I started back in September and am really enjoying it. Today one of the local courses was adding 18 new holes, so I spent the day helping to clear the fairways, and setting new baskets up.

This basket was completed with the help of about 4 different people. I am really happy with how it came out. It is smaller than a regulation basket, but that should help down the road. Needless to say I am very happy and hopefully this will help my putting!

Tonight's pint glass was basically a Mason Jar! It had a cool embossed logo on it and wanted it to pop in this photo. I used an image on the iPad for the BG. Just messing around with colors.

Started a new photography class today! It went really well, and am looking forward to the next 5 weeks. Today's biggest lesson was white balance. It has been the one thing that I have wanted to fix the most in post processing. It is going to be nice to fix that in the camera first! Now off to find an Expo Disk.
