After the two weekends of hiking I am seriously considering a week vacation to hike the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail. I picked this map up at Neel's Gap. It is a pretty cool map. I ordered the rest of the series, but they have not completed creating maps for the whole trail. You can get them from HERE.

Hiking on the AT - 118 of 365
An AWESOME DAY! We drove up to Blood Mtn and went on a hike to the top! It was 4.4 miles. We packed lunch which we enjoyed after all of our hard work. While we were there we also stopped at Neels Gap and checked out the Walasi-Yi Interpretive Center. They had tons of shoes from hikers just hanging in the trees. Overall we had a great day!

It's Almost Spring - 113 of 365
Just saw the flowers and had to snap some photos. This is also the first RAW photo that I have taken and post processed. I wanted the purple to pop a bit more. I am not really big into editing my photos. Usually I just do VERY minor adjustments in Picasa. My goal is to get as much right in the camera. But just trying something new!

A Hike and Picnic - 112 of 365
While up at Big Canoe we decided to go for a hike at Amicalola Falls. After we got to the top we had lunch. Lunch for the day was turkey sandwiches and chips, not the typical buffet at the lodge. Here the view from the trail while coming down from the top of the falls. We had great time!

Acworth Photo Walk - 111 of 365
An early morning photowalk. We went to downtown Acworth today, and it turned out to be a pretty good location. Three trains came by while we were walking around, and they all had some type of graffiti on them. This was my favorite.

I got this new camera gadget today! Boken Masters Kit I have wanted to try this for a long time! It is very simple, but just need the right tool. This kit comes with a bunch of precut shapes. Now I just have to experiment with it. So here is my Valentine!
